1. UPDATES (moon icon)

I don't know how you feel about subscriptions or eMail in general but, with a very few exceptions, I personally will do almost anything to avoid any sort of eMail coming to me on a regular basis. I suppose it is because of that attitude of my own that I have been feeling rather sour about cranking out so many SPR Update Notices lately.

The prospect of this Update today kind of turned over my psychological row boat. So I've come up with a solution which, at least until I get all my hard copies uploaded ~read “very regular revisions to SPR” (see “Poetry\Other Future Plans”, SPR Portal Update 11/26/2006)~ will eliminate eMail guilt on my part and, hopefully, provide a sense of relief on yours. This idiot cannot imagine why she never thought of this before:

I've created a new webpage at SPR called “Updates Log” which will maintain a real-time, running description of all revisions, and can be viewed by clicking the inner icon on the UPDATES page (linked in upper panel on all SPR pages ~same page used for Updates subscription registration). That will provide visitors with a quick and immediate way of seeing if SPR has changed since your last visit, without necessitating an eMail Update Notice from me each time a single title is added.

Subscribers will continue to receive this information by eMail, except now I will send Notices out (when applicable) NO MORE FREQUENTLY than once per month. [Anybody with an historical interest in Updates that precede the new log can still find them archived over at The Camel's Back(TCB), linked in the top panel of all SPR pages.]

Please let me know right away if you have any feedback on this change in policy, especially if you are unhappy about it.

[Note: “(excluding none)”, above, is included in this Update as “revision” only because in this case, atypically, graphic format directs the reader's interpretation of meaning. And I really botched it when originally formatted for SPR upload.]

5. POETRY – Remaining old-format pages
All SPR contents are now formatted with the new upper and lower panels (i.e., internal icons-access and individual title information, respectively).
