Walls (miscellaneous graffiti and Goat Wisdom)
Author's Preface
Walls
meets a simple criteria, as collections go: With few exceptions, everything in it is an epigram or is what I refer to as
Goat Wisdom
which, conveniently, turns out to also be almost* entirely epigrammatic.
Regardless of literary genre, Goat Wisdom by its very nature presents itself most appropriately as
writing on the wall
and, hence, is to be found in this collection. Until and unless I write some dedicated explanation of the origin of my term
Goat Wisdom,
which is terrifically unlikely, its meaning can be inferred by consideration of all its parts, ascending by date, at my blog
The Camel's Back (TCB)
~indexed chronologically in those archives~ beginning with The Goat's introduction 19 September 2006, in
Discernment is not Rehearsal
(Meditation).
In all cases, individual dates are given under thumbs-up icons, respectively, on
Goat Wisdom
pages, as well as all but the original of the
graffiti
pages.
Walls
does not in any way depend upon the order in which its pieces are read. Its titles do not link in sequence, and their only internal connection to one another is their mutual presence in this collection menu, and their copyright footers.

The Thing,
atypically, is an example of Goat Wisdom as inspiration for discussion and, here, is excerpted from the longer
Dialogues III.
In another exception a Goat epigram-like pontification is, for context, preceded in
Goat Wisdom
by a non-epigrammatic dialogue excerpt.]
