1
In the context of Sugarpie Rabbit(SPR)'s writings, "epoch" refers to an author-defined division of life so meaningful-by-theme of life-experience as to have uniquely shaped and/or directed the writing of its titles. These epochs are generally, but not always, either begun or ended (or both) by a hallmark spiritual event in my life. (For examples and more information in specific, see individual prefaces by epoch.)

That month began with my relocation 1,700 miles from the region where I had grown up and from all lifelong friends.
The move began my life-passage as a single mother below the poverty line with no accessible support, whatsoever —an unexpected and extremely traumatic shock to me after I had made the move and had no way to undo it.
One month later I met my future husband and, unknown to either of us at the time, began our fourteen-year relationship.

I did not possess the spiritual understanding until more than two epochs later to have
consciously
come to the conclusion expressed regarding the "absolute and overall nature" of this epoch.
