This photo is from the Twin Bluffs, west from New Lisbon on Cty. Hwy. A.
It is a prehistoric rock carving on the southern side of the large bluff. When we talked to the Ho Chunk Tribal Historian several years ago he told us that it dates from a time before the Ho Chunk people. So here is a remarkable bit of pre-history that is right within our area.
