Last week I commented on the thought in this fashion. "The pathway of the deeper spiritual experience often moves from unbelief, to I don’t know, to belief, to commitment, to discipleship. Wherever you are on the pathway join with us as we make our way together down the trail."
But if you say, "I don’t want any kind of a spiritual experience," let me put it this way. What things excite you? Think of these weekly thoughts as a means to spiritualize by getting to their source, this excitement.

Today Is the Lord’s
As I wake
to a breath of crisp spring air,
As I turn my thoughts to a new day,
I commit myself to the Lord.
I look to Him for guidance.
I ask, "Where are you taking me?"
I listen with open ears and eager heart.
I know the Lord has only the best in mind for me.
Through happy times
or troubled times,
The Lord strengthens me,
teaches me,
and helps me grow.
He gives me wisdom, hope and peace of mind.
What a beautiful way to live my day
as I give myself to the Lord.
