Lenore Coberly writes in the Preface to the book of poetry produced as part of the celebration of Wisconsin Baptists sesquicentennial, "It has been a faith-deepening experience to read the poems sent to me for this collection. All of them added to my own faith." I hope this will also be your experience as we share an occasional poem from this collection in these thoughts.

 

Congregation

Flowing together,

Touching,

Parting,

Twining,

Each stronger for the others,

Each shining soul

Threading the thick cable

That carries God’s love.
