Dear God:
I thank thee for what thou has done for me this day and in the past, and may thou be with me this night and in the days to come.
Grant unto me enough rest and sound sleep to carry me through the tomorrow and the days to come and I shall return thee thy praise in the name of our Lord Jesus, Amen
L. M.
Is this testimony, written after over 8 decades of life, a fitting commentary on Jesus teaching as recorded in Matthew 6:25-34? "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life but strive first for the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Todays trouble is enough for today."
I admire such faith in all such forms and any and all practitioners.
