The Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning: Four new What Works Briefs have recently been produced that describe practical strategies, provide references to more information about the practice, and include a one-page handout that highlights the major points.

From Collaborating Partners:
About Mental Health & Social Emotional Development

Dr. Becky Bailey's Loving Guidance: Conscious Discipline is a comprehensive classroom management program and a social-emotional curriculum. It is based on current brain research, child development information, and developmentally appropriate practices. Conscious Discipline has been specifically designed to make changes in the lives of adults first. The adults, in turn, change the lives of children.

The Wisconsin Alliance for Infant Mental Health (WI-AIMH) promotes the healthy social and emotional development of Wisconsin children from birth through age five. Our goal is to weave infant mental health practices and principles into the everyday activities of individuals who touch the lives of infants, young children and their families.
